Summary 2019 expeditions

Sumatra, Indonesia

My latest expedition was a survival project in northern Sumatra where I attempted to survive alone in the jungle with very limited food. I stayed 18 days in the jungle, mostly eating fish and frogs.

Northwestern Passage, Canada

Together with my buddy Eirik Thune, we skied 400 km across parts of the Arctic Ocean on our journey from Cambridge Bay to Gjoa Haven. We experienced extreme cold and saw lots of polar bear tracks. An incredible adventure that made us reconnect with Norwegian polar history

Aconcagua, Argentina

I started 2019 by ascending Aconcagua (6962 m) by myself. I made the summit push directly from Guanacos (5470 m) and reached the top by 10:45. What an experience to stand all alone on the summit of the western hemisphere!
